Central Bank of Türkiye’s Investor Day attracts great interest

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) held an Investor Day in New York on January 11, 2024. CBRT Governor Hafize Gaye Erkan met with more than 200 senior representatives from some of the world’s largest investment funds with a total size of USD 50 trillion.

On Thursday, January 11, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey invited you to a day of meetings with Turkish officials and investors.

“J.P. Morgan was honored to host the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey’s (CBRT) first Investor Day in New York this week, which attracted strong interest from fixed income and equity investors,” said Luis Oganes, Head of Global Macro Research at J.P. Morgan.

The Turkish authorities shared their policy agenda and plans to combat inflation and ensure macroeconomic stability in the coming period, the statement said.

Turkish Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek and CBRT Governor Hafize Gaye Erkan were thanked for the privilege of hosting the opening of the Investor Day with a highly informative Q&A session and presentations.

J.P. Morgan experts were also present at the meeting, the statement said:

The second edition of the “Investor Day” event is planned to be held in Turkey.
