BİTCİ TECHNOLOGY TO DEVELOP PROJECT FOR FORMULA 1 TEAM McLAREN

Bitci Technology will implement a special token project for the McLaren Formula 1 Team. With the agreement that will be valid for 3 + 2 years, the local blockchain developed by Turkish engineers will be used for the first time in the Formula 1 organization.
Bitci Teknoloji, which has managed to export Turkish blockchain abroad with the agreements it has signed with Glasgow Rangers and Real Betis, one of the long-established clubs of European football, will now represent our country in Formula 1, which is among the most watched sports organizations in the world. One of the most successful teams in Formula 1 history; British McLaren Racing, which has won 12 championships in pilots and 8 championships in teams since the first races in 1966, has chosen Bitci Teknoloji for the development of blockchain technologies.
Under the agreement, Bitci Teknoloji will implement a special token project for the McLaren Formula 1 Team. The token project in question was developed by Turkish engineers and software developers within Bitci Teknoloji; It will run on Bitci Chain, Turkey’s first local blockchain platform. Details regarding the token project will be announced in the coming days.
Commenting on the issue, Bitci Teknoloji Chairman of the Board Çağdaş Çağlar stated that they are very proud and happy about the agreement and said, “Formula 1 is one of the most followed sports organizations in the world. McLaren Racing, one of the most established teams of this organization and considered one of the legends of Formula 1 all over the world with its successes, has chosen a Turkish blockchain company for this project, which is very important in terms of showing where Turkish entrepreneurs, engineers and software developers have reached in the world.” said.
McLaren Racing Commercial Director Mark Waller said: “With the signed agreement, we are delighted to announce Bitci.com as the official partner of our McLaren F1 team. Our long-term partnership and fan token project with Bitci com will be the first of its kind in Formula 1.
According to the statement made by Formula 1, the Canadian Grand Prix, which is planned to host Formula 1 between 11-13 June, has been canceled for the second time in a row.
Turkey was the ideal candidate to replace Montreal, as the Baku race will take place on June 6, and as expected, Formula 1’s choice was Turkey.
In the statement made by Formula 1, the ongoing restrictions and 14-day quarantine rule in Canada caused the race to be canceled.
“I am very excited to announce that Turkey will enter the calendar again after last season’s incredible race, although it was a great disappointment not to be able to go to Canada this season,” said Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali.
