Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek met with investors in Spain: High interest about the Turkish market

Commenting on the investment tour in Spain, Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Treasury and Finance, said that the meetings with executives of major Spanish companies and the financial sector were very productive. Şimşek said that there was a high level of interest in Turkey’s growth potential and the opportunities it offers.

Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek continues his international investor meetings. Minister Şimşek’s last stop was Spain. Meeting with 2 trillion dollar sized companies and executives of the financial sector, Şimşek said that the interest in Turkey is good.

Minister Şimşek said the following about the meeting: “Our international investor meetings continue in Spain. Hosted by BBVA, one of the world’s leading financial institutions, our meetings with the executives of globally influential Spain-based companies and the financial sector, which are 2 trillion dollars in size, were very productive.

Investors from the communications, finance, energy, healthcare, tourism, automotive and textile sectors are keenly interested in Turkey’s growth potential and opportunities.
