Turkish EMRA, Elder and ITU ARI Teknokent join forces for energy sector initiatives

The 2022 application process for the “Enerjim Sensin Acceleration Program”, which was initiated in cooperation with ITU ARI Teknokent under the coordination of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) and the Electricity Distribution Services Association (Elder), to support initiatives that develop projects for the energy sector, has started.

According to the statement made by EMRA, energy startups that include innovations that will shape the energy sector with new approaches in sustainable energy supply security, technological transformation in the electricity sector, energy efficiency, energy infrastructures, consumer satisfaction and similar fields can apply until August 14.

At the end of the program, successful energy startups will be able to win a cash prize of 600 thousand TL on the Enerjim Sensin Demo Day and 400 thousand TL on the Big Bang Startup Challenge 2022 stage.

 

Winning startups are awarded a total of 1 million TL at the end of the program. In addition, energy startups selected by the Enerjim Sensin jury will be able to benefit from the Big Bang Startup Challenge’s 458 million TL prize pool.

Entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to introduce their innovative business ideas to the electricity distribution sector with the İTÜ Çekirdek “Enerjim Sensin Acceleration Program”.

Initiatives selected within the scope of the program, training and seminars at ITU Seed to commercialize their ventures; It has been announced that more than 500 mentors, who are experts in their fields from marketing to finance, from sales to human resources, will be able to benefit from the R&D fund and laboratory infrastructure to develop the selected prototypes.

 

In addition, they will have the opportunity to benefit from various advantages and supports such as meeting with potential customers, access to national and international connections, participation in global fairs, events and acceleration programs, and investment opportunities.
